Commercial fit-out for your business

A fit-out adapts premises to a specific occupier and use. ITTU combines the building works with the building systems to take you from plan to premises ready for use. The boundaries of the work are set by the design, the building's requirements and the client's equipment.

What a fit-out includes

Based on the design, we agree the preparation of the premises, layout changes, finishes and systems work. The responsibilities of the furniture, process equipment, security and audio/video suppliers are built into the overall programme. Whether these supplies are included in ITTU's price is stated in the proposal.

Tenant, landlord and contractors

Before work starts we confirm access, permitted working hours, connections to the building's systems and the approval procedure. We establish which decisions rest with the client, the landlord or the designer.

After the fit-out — ready for everyday use

We agree the handover documents, how outstanding items are recorded and the ongoing maintenance. Where needed, the proposal is extended with partner cleaning and other building services.

What is the difference between a fit-out and a refurbishment?

A fit-out adapts premises to a specific use; it can combine layout, finishes and systems. The exact scope always has to be defined in the design or the schedule of works.
