Retail fit-out in a shopping centre, Riga
The brief: fit out a new shop in a shopping centre by the tenant's opening date, while coordinating the building works with the centre's operating hours.
ITTU's role
General contractor for the building works and the installation of building systems within the agreed scope. Shop equipment and furniture were supplied by the client's partners; we coordinated connections and the sequence of works with them.
Scope of work
Partitions and finishes, ceilings, ventilation and cooling, electrical installations and lighting, water supply and sewerage — in one programme with the client's equipment suppliers.
Constraints and solution
The work took place in an operating shopping centre: noisy work was scheduled outside trading hours, and deliveries came through the service entrance at agreed times.
Verifiable result
The shop was handed over and opened on the agreed date.
